Leonard Cohen, the 82 year old, rock and roll hall of famer does it again with a pitch black dark song.
The canadian’s newly released single, put out on his birthday no less, is titled “You Want it Darker”.
An odd song bordering a depressive state is almost like a hymn or a spiritual utterance, with a deep bass-line, deeper vocals, leaving you with a longing taste in your mouth of things that were not and could have been, but also of a nostalgic theme.
