Ok, so is it just us? I mean… we were really just excited that Daft Punk hasn’t simply been taking it easy and sitting around on their. . . robot hands?
I mean after Get Lucky and the album release we’d figured they would drop off the map like the duo is famously known for.
Anyway, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo & Thomas Bangalter have teamed up with an excellent artist by the name of The Weekend (doubt you’ve ever heard of him), in order to produce an excellent slightly synthy track, STARBOY, which will be on the newly released album of the same name.
In the music video Abel switches up his style and takes “a new lane” as well as a very very clean 3million dollar Mclaren P1 in the video featuring a nice Daft Punk painting and some very stunning and very macabre visuals.
Only thing is we cant really say we’re playing the song too much in the studio but we are definitely feeling some of the club remixes we’ve heard so far.
